Aber 16L-06 Set of two barrels ZB 37 for Panzer 38(t)

ZB vz.37 (another designation: ZB-53) is a Czechoslovak machine gun caliber 7.92 mm from the interwar period and World War II. The weapon was developed in 1935 and entered production a year later (1936). Zbrojovka Brno was responsible for its development and production. The total weight of the unloaded rifle is 21 kilograms and its length is 1.105 meters, with the barrel length being 0.736 meters. The maximum rate of fire was up to 800 rounds per minute, and the initial velocity of the bullet fired from this rifle was about 800 m / s. The presented rifle was developed by Wacław Holek and Mirosław Rolcik for the needs of the Czechoslovak Armed Forces as a weapon that was to replace the World War I 8mm Schwarzlose rifle. The weapon was structurally based on the vz.35 machine gun. Although the ZB vz.37 turned out to be a rifle with good parameters, it was highly unreliable and prone to jamming. However, it was used as an additional armament in LT vz.35 and vz.38 tanks[późniejsze Pz.Kpfw 35 (t) oraz 38 (t)] and as a heavy machine gun of the Czechoslovak infantry. The rights to its production were sold, among others, to Great Britain.
