ORP Pomorzanin (former name: Wotan) was originally a German and later a Polish hydrographic ship from World War I and the interwar period. The launch was most likely in 1893. The displacement of the unit reached 220 tons. The total length of the ship at the time of launching was 43 meters and 6 meters wide. The maximum speed did not exceed 13 knots. The unit had no permanent on-board armament. ORP Pomorzanin was originally built as a passenger and mail ship called "Deutschland", which operated cabotage in the region of the Frisian Islands. In 1914, the unit found its way to the Baltic Sea and it is possible that at the outbreak of World War I it was acquired by the German Navy, where it was used as a patrolman under the name Wotan. Certainly, after the end of hostilities in the period 1918-1919, the ship was in Rostock and Hamburg. However, in May 1920, the unit (under the name ORP Pomorzanin) entered service in the Polish Navy, being the first ship with the Polish flag after regaining independence. However, in February 1922, the ship was decommissioned and handed over to civilians. In 1950, most likely, the unit was cut for scrap.
