Heller 80161 PEUGEOT 403

The Peugeot 403 is a French middle class passenger car that was first presented to the public in 1955. Its serial production started in the same year and lasted until 1966. About 1.2 million copies of this model were produced during it. Produckaj was concentrated in the city of Sochaux in France, but was also held in Australia and New Zealand.

The Peugeot 403 was developed and put into production as a replacement for the 203 models in the group's offer. Compared to its predecessor, it differed significantly in the styling of the body and passenger compartment, for which the Pininfarina design office was responsible. The gearbox, steering and braking systems were also improved. The range of engines was also expanded: instead of one with a capacity of 1.3 liters, three engines with a capacity of 1.3 to 1.8 liters appeared. Peugeot 403 was offered in several body versions, for example as a 4-door sedan, a 2-door convertible or a 2-door pick-up. Peugeot 403 was replaced in the company's offer by the 404 model.
