"Leningrad 76.2 mm" is a Soviet self-propelled gun from the Second World War. The length of the wagon was about 4.62 meters, with a width of about 2.52 meters and a height of about 2.53 meters. The drive was provided by a single 4-cylinder engine with 90 HP. The armament consisted of a single 76.2 mm gun. The maximum speed on the road did not exceed 35 km / h. The presented self-propelled gun was developed on the chassis of the T-26 tank in the city of Leningrad in the initial period of its blockade by the Axis armies (1941-1944). In essence, the Leningrad 76.2 mm gun was improvisation, trying to make the most of its resources and use them to defend the city. The main armament of the vehicle was a 76.2 mm naval cannon, which was fixedly mounted on the hull of the T-26. The gun crew was protected from the front with armor plates. Vehicles of this type were used only in the defense of Leningrad, and in total no more than 20 of them were built.
