LAV-A2 (other designation: LAV-25 A2 ) is an American, modern, wheeled armored personnel carrier. The drive is provided by a single motor Detroit Diesel 6V53T with a power of 275 hp. The cart is 6.42 meters long and 2.48 meters wide. The armament consists of the 25mm M242 Bushmaster automatic cannon and two 7.62mm machine guns. The LAV-A2 was developed as a far-reaching modernization of the LAV-25. It is based on many of its components, but has many changes.
