The Hino Profia is a Japanese truck that was first presented to the public in 2003. In the same year it entered mass production. The Profia FR 6x2 model measures 11.98 meters, with a width of 2.49 meters and a height of 3.75 meters. Currently, the Profia series trucks are powered by one of two engines with a capacity of 8.9 or 12.9 liters and 6 cylinders.

The Profia model was developed and implemented into mass production by the automotive company Hino Motors, which is capital controlled by Toyota Motor Corporation. The new model was a development of the previous Hino brand models: Super Dolphin and especially Super Dolphin Profia, which were produced in the years 1981-2003. Compared to its predecessors, the car received primarily a better, aerodynamically, cabin, which is also characterized by a higher level of safety. The range of available engines was also reduced from five to initially three, and now two. It is worth adding that the Profia model is offered in various chassis configurations as a 4-, 6- or 8-wheel car.
