Wan Chien is a modern Taiwanese class air-to-ground missile with a range of up to 240 kilometers. Its maximum speed is often referred to as "high-subsonic". The missile's own weight is up to 650 kilograms, with a length of 350 centimeters and a diameter of 610 millimeters. The missile is probably able to carry a warhead weighing up to 350 kilograms. Wan Chien was developed at a Taiwanese research institute Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology and entered service in 2011. The missile, with its combat parameters and general design, resembles to some extent the AGM-158 JASM missile or the Storm Shadow missile. Assume that the missile is inertial homing and that it uses GPS. It is most likely highly resistant to interference. The missile can be carried primarily by airplanes (especially the F-CK-1 Ching-Kuo machines). It is assumed that Wan Chien can engage both land targets and - largely - surface targets.
Hsiung Feng III (HF-3 for short) is a modern Taiwanese anti-ship missile with a range of up to 400 kilometers. Its maximum speed (according to official data) reaches 2.5-3 Ma, and the weight of the warhead is 225 kilograms. The total length of the projectile is about 6.1 meters, and its diameter is about 46 centimeters. The Hsiung Feng III missile was developed at a Taiwanese research institute Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology and entered service in 2007. The missile is treated as a specific successor to the Hsiung Feng II missile and differs from it in many elements. First of all, it is a much larger missile, powered by a different rocket engine, but also having much greater combat capabilities, such as range, mass of the transferred warhead, and especially - maximum speed. Moreover, there are many indications that it is theoretically capable of carrying nuclear warheads as well as warheads with biological and chemical weapons. It also has the ability to destroy both sea and land targets. The missile can be carried by the F-CK-1 Ching-Kuo aircraft, but it can also be operated by Kang Ding frigates and Cheng Kung destroyers.
Hsiung Feng II (HF-2 for short) is a modern Taiwanese solid fuel anti-ship missile with a range of up to 160 kilometers. Its top speed is around 0.85 Ma, and its curb weight is 685 kilograms, with a warhead weighing up to 180 kilograms. The total length of the projectile is 4.8 meters and its diameter is 40 centimeters. Hsiung Feng II was developed at a Taiwanese research institute Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology , and entered service in the early 1990s. The missile can be carried by ships, planes (especially F-CK-1 Ching-Kuo machines) and it can be based on land launchers. It is characterized by high resistance to radio-electronic interference and a relatively long range - it is perceived in the Taiwanese fleet and aviation as a successor to the RGM-84 Harpoon missile. It is worth adding that the missile is still being improved and efforts are made to increase its range.
