FineMolds SE03 Aichi Prefectual Government Main Building

Aichi Prefectural Government Office (Japanese in Latin: Aichi Kenchō) is the main building of the Aichi Prefecture territorial headquarters in the central part of the Japanese island of Honshu. The building was erected in the city of Nagoya. This public utility building was erected just before the outbreak of World War II - in 1938 to be precise. Its main architects were Nishimura Yoshitoki and Jin Watanabe - the same ones who designed the National Museum in Tokyo. As in their Tokyo implementation, they decided to create a building in the Teikan Yoshiki (Imperial Crown Style) style, which in Polish - highly imperfectly - can be translated as the imperial style. This style was characterized, among other things, by the use of a neoclassical facade of the building in the European spirit, but covered with a Japanese-style roof. The Aichi Prefecture building is considered to be one of the finest examples of this style in Japanese architecture. It is worth adding that the building has six floors, is 39.8 meters high and has an office space of approx. 28,300 m2.
